Create and Share an Encryption Key

Note: The user who creates an encryption key is the “Source”. Only the key’s Source could share an encryption key with other users.

1. To encrypt your data, first, you much create an encryption key by clicking the +
   
   
   
2. Then click “Generate new Key”
   
   
   
3. Name your key, then click “Done”
   
   
   
4. You have two options to share the encryption key with your team:
   
   1. Broadcast chat
      
      
   2. QR code
      
      
5. After you shared your encryption key with your team, it must be validated. They have two options to validate the key you shared with them.
   
   1. QR code
      
      
      
   2. Plaintext PIN
      
      
      
      

1. If you need to share the key with another teammate at a later time, click on the > next to the key you wish you share
   
   
   
2. Click “Share”
   
   
   
3. Then continue from step 4 above
