The Pro Portal is used to create frequency sets, users and user permissions, and select applications and mission packs to be sent to the goKit. This is intended to be setup in advance, before the devices are deployed. This enables the goKits and End User Devices (EUDs) to simply signed in and pull the information from the portal, and then function immediately.
The initial setup of an EUD or goKit will require connectivity to the internet to pull this information from the portal. After this has occurred the devices should remain signed in and will no longer need any internet connectivity.
Setting up a goKit with the Pro Portal will allow the goKit to store all of this information for offline use; it can then be used provide additional EUDs with the required applications and set up information completely offline.
goKits and EUDs can be set up offline, however, frequency sets will need to be created manually, specific user permissions cannot be applied, and the goKit will not contain the selected applications or mission packs for deployment.
Problem 1: My organization does not have an admin account to access the Pro Portal
Solution: Admin accounts for organizations are authorized by goTenna. Contact prosupport@gotenna.com to request an admin account for your organization.
Problem 2: I have provisioned my EUD or goKit offline, I do not have access to 5 or 15 second PLI updates for ATAK, or I cannot backhaul my team's location for the Pro app
Solution: These are examples of permissions that are controlled through the portal. Your admin will need to create user profiles that allow these permissions
