As an end-user, what do I do with frequency sets?
As an end-user, the only information relevant to frequency sets is the name of the active frequency set. You only need to make sure you confirm the active frequency set with the rest of your team. You are free to toggle between different frequency sets but, only a user with service user permissions can edit these settings.
What is output power?
This is the output power that the goTenna Pro will transmit when on a specific frequency set. Selectable on the Portal and via the goTenna Pro App or ATAK goTenna Plug-In
Will my frequency sets or edits populate to the Portal?
No, any frequency sets created or edited on an EUD is not pushed to the portal. Each time you edit or change a frequency set you make a new local one based on the original from the portal. You can always reset back to the Portal defaults at any time via the Frequency Settings option in-app.
How is performance affected by using different power levels?
Different power levels will not noticeably affect battery life, but the number of nodes in the network and how often PLI updates occur will.
